What type of repairs do we do?
The best thing to do is contact us with what’s going on with your vehicle, but generally these are some of the repairs we are able to do:
- Oil and oil filter change
- Brake repair. Including Disc Pads, Shoes, Rotors, Drums, Calipers.
- Minor tune ups including Spark Plugs, Wires, and Coil replacement
- Replacement of:
- – Serpentine belts
- – Battery
- – Headlights
- – Tail and brake lights
- – Air Filter
- – Windshield Wiper Blades
- Struts and Shocks
- Tie rods
- Stabilizer bar links
- Some drive shafts
- Wheel bearings
- Check Engine light diagnosis
- There are other types of repairs that we can do as well. Just ask!
*In addition to the above services, we provide a thorough inspection of your car which includes checking and servicing various fluid levels.

- Timing belts
- Water pumps
- Fuel pumps
- Transmission repair or flushes
- Exhaust repair
- Major engine repair
- Body repair
- Fuel injector replacement
Can I get my car fixed?
Our mission is to serve financially limited single moms, single women, widows and others who may need special assistance as our schedule permits. If that’s you, then yes!
Cars must be in running condition when you bring your vehicle in at the scheduled time. Your vehicles trunk and interior must be clean so we can properly perform service. We do not offer any type of towing services, and we do not accept towed vehicles at this time.
How much will it cost?
We charge only for the cost of the parts and supplies required for repair. We purchase car parts from local auto parts supply stores at a discount. These savings are passed on to our guests. Guests may bring their own parts if they desire but are responsible for the quality of the parts and correctness.
How do I get help or request repair service?
Please read carefully
If after reading the above “Can I get my car fixed?” and if you feel you meet the requirements, go to Get Help and fill out the form and we will review your application and contact you promptly.
*All repair requests must be scheduled through our website, and you will be asked to give your contact information and a brief description of the requested repairs.
Confirm your appointment 3 days before your scheduled appointment. You will receive another reminder and request to confirm your upcoming appointment. Appointments that are not confirmed within 48 hours will be canceled and given to another guest on our waiting list.
* If you are not expecting to make your appointment, please cancel in advance so we are able to schedule another person like you on the waiting list. If you would like to make other arrangements, use the Contact Us information in the confirmation email.
* Please be on time! Be courteous to the volunteers here for you and others waiting for repairs. Unless you have arranged a last minute change with us, appointments more than 30 minutes late will be canceled, and you will need to reschedule for our next available opening.
